Benefits Realisation

Benefits Realisation

Benefits realisation is the definition, planning, structuring and actual realisation of the benefits of a business change or business improvement project.

This is necessary so that business projects and programmes achieve their objectives. Studies show that over 70% of business improvement projects fail to deliver their expected benefits, and even when they are achieved in part, often they are far from fully realised.

Managing benefits realisation helps ensure the project sponsor remains accountable for achieving the benefits once the project has been completed. Achieving the exact benefits envisioned at the start of the project or programme may not be possible because of market and scope changes. Even so, closer alignment of expectations and results improves future business investment decisions.

TeamFrame and its partners understand how important and how difficult it is to track and manage the realisation of benefits once the project has been completed. Over the years we have investigated and implemented a number of approaches that we would be pleased to discuss with you.
